What to Expect

Have you been thinking about visiting connections but you're just not sure what to expect?

Visiting a new church can raise a lot of questions and be very intimidating.

Here's a brief description of what to expect so you can attend with a relaxed confidence.

Most people are dressed casually.  Greeters will meet you with a smile and a friendly hello.  They can give you any assistance or information that you may need. They'll have name badges, so you'll know how to identify them easily. You can also go to the welcome center to get any information regarding connections.

The Connections Experience

You'll notice the connections cafe just off the lobby, where you can grab a beverage and snack. Drinks and food are allowed in the auditorium, so make yourself at home!

If you have children that are 5th grade or younger, there are clearly marked signs directing you to our Children's Ministry and Nursery area located just past the cafe. At the check in desk you can register and check in your children to the age appropriate room. Safety is the highest priority at connections, so you will need to check in and check out your children. You can also meet the teachers and tour your child's room.

If you have children that are 6th through 12th grade, they can enjoy the service with you in the main auditorium. Our student service, also known as Connections Student Ministry (CSM) is on Sunday from 4:30-6:00pm at the church building.

The service will last about 65 minutes.

The music in the service is contemporary in style.

If the music is a little loud for your taste, disposable

earplugs are available at the welcome center.

The message will be based on the Bible and real life.

Your life.

During your visit we ask that you complete the white visitor card found in the chair backs. Please turn this in to the Welcome Center. As a visitor, we have a gift waiting for you at the welcome center. This gift is to thank you for visiting Connections Community Church and we hope your experience was relative and empowering!

After the service most people hang around for a little bit to make new friend or catch up with old ones. The cafe will still be open. There are opportunities to connect with people if you would like more information, counsel or prayer.

We hope you decide to visit and don't forget to bring family and friends along with you!
