Jon Krum

Jon has been part of Connections Community Church since day 1.  A group of Schoolcraft people got together in his basement and the Prairie Chapel (the orgininal name of our church) was formed. Jon has witnessed the church growing from 20 people to the church it is today,    Jon is a Schoolcraft native.  His family owned the local car dealership, Krum-Hallam Chevrolet, and Jon worked there for 35 years. Jon is happily married to his wife, Laurie, and they enjoy their two adult boys, Blake and Grant.  Jon's faith journey has grown stronger over the years, and he thanks God for all the positive and negative mile markers along his path.  He is grateful to his friends at Connections for their help in his spiritual development.

Alex Pulido

Alex works as a legal services representative and holds a Master's Degree in Theology.  He has served on the worship team and the ESL (English as a second language) Team.  Alex and his wife, Julie, have 4 young children that keep them busy, and laughing!  Just as the Pulidos are a dual culture and language family, Alex is passionate about multicultural ministry, evangelism, and outreach.

Kathy DeMott

Kathy and her husband Yancy have been attending Connections Community Church since 2012 when they moved to Vicksburg.  They have served together in Children’s ministry for the past 5 years.  They also have served as greeters and small group leaders.  Kathy has a heart for encouraging women, teaching, and community outreach.  She recently retired from Johnson & Johnson after almost 17 years as a pharmaceutical representative. She also worked as a public health nurse in Calhoun County for 10 years and is a licensed registered nurse.   She has previously volunteered in ministry with teens, the homeless, prison outreach, and helped coordinate teen and women’s conferences.  She enjoys teaching and mentoring others. She currently writes for the South County News but her favorite role is “Nana” to their nine grandchildren
